Part rant, part highlight
“Just because you talk to a crowd doesn’t make you a public speaker.” ~ME

**snores**startled** “What happened to grandma?” ~Tim D. (that’s what happens when you startle a drunk person awake)

“That’s unsanitary.”~girls’ quote of the evening, 24 September 2009

The Rant Portion of the Post
I am so enormously OVER selfish people. This category includes the following: people who think that this wedding is about them instead of Mike and me; psychotic relatives who have done nothing but harass me since my engagement in May 2007; people who think that they can invite their friends to crash our wedding (**coughs**Mike’s cousin**coughs**); certain individuals who have not considered my feelings, but have made their own known; and people who never acknowledged that this was my wedding, but instead raised an issue that turned the attention to them only. Who needs a bridezilla when you have guestzillas? I’m just saying…I feel like I’ve needed to shout reminders from the rooftops that this is not their weddings.

I’ve also updated my pet peeves list to add people who don’t RSVP. It’s actually quite rude not to RSVP for a wedding, especially when the number of guests determines important things like the amount of food and alcohol required to meet the guests’ needs, the seating arrangements, et cetera. Inconsiderate people really frost my cookies.

The Highlight Portion of the Post:
Mike had his bachelor party last Saturday night. The guys went out to Brickskeller in DC and did their bachelor thing while I chilled out with KP and Alexis back here. I don’t know about the boys, but the girls had a rockin’ time hanging out with a few brews and a bottle of rum. Things turned a little silly when the guys returned, and the second party continued until 5:30 in the morning. Almost everyone crashed over, and we hit up Silver Diner for a late breakfast. It was some sort of fantastic.

And I’m out…

p.s. I hope that Project Runway goes back to NYC next season. Fashion in (hel)L.A. is just not as good as it is back in NYC.
