I have two of the world’s most adorable kitties. They’ve both been exceedingly cute lately. I think it has something to do with me being out of town last week on a business trip. I’m very fortunate to have my furry children. =^.^=
My sister and I went to my first post-alterations fitting today. The seamstress still needs to take it in a little bit more and install a corset inside it. She’s doing that at less than half of the price that she’d quoted me originally. Whew. Wedding preparations continue to be a rollercoaster experience, mostly because of our respective moms. Our first dance lesson was oodles of fun. I think that we picked a great song for our dance too. (Now, if the DJ would only call me back to schedule our last appointment.)
I want the weather to stay warm, but I’m already channeling Halloween. It’s in stores everywhere. Speaking of my favorite holiday…there will be so much awesomeness going down at Morsander this year. I am beyond excited about it. I’m currently watching some of my favorite episodes from BTVS (season 2)—I need to soak in my vampiric inspiration for Morsander. Of course, Mike and I had an Angel Season 4 marathon last weekend, so we’ve been entrenched in the Buffyverse for a week now.
Moving along with the vamp theme...True Blood’s season finale is on tomorrow night! I cannot believe how much better this season is. The first season was pitiful, but the second season has been enormously entertaining. My biggest disappointment, however, was the Queen of Louisiana. I was expecting a bad ass character, but she was rather irritating instead. Nonetheless, I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen tomorrow night.
